1826 Funeral Card.
Augustus Jocelyn was a Methodist minister from New York
state. He was not appointed to the Methodist circuit here. He edited and
published the Western Agriculturist at Brookville and was a
prime mover in construction of the White Water Canal. He was also a
teacher in the early schools of Brookville. (see Reifel, p. 393)
